This interesting continent may seem peaceful, but people have died in Antarctica. Even scarier there have been 27 deaths since 1819. A scientist named Gordon Hamilton died, due to a snowmobile crash. He was fifty years old years when incident happened. He died while inspecting ice with his colleagues. Another scientist who died was kirsty Brown. She was snorkeling in the waters, studying the movement of icebergs. She was attacked by a leopard seal. Edward Adrian Wilson died on a trip from the south pole.
